Tena mai ano tatau!  The next five years for The Ngai Tahumakakanui Iwi Trust are crucial in terms of growth in operations/services, projects and programmes.  In fact, one of the major goals for the period is to seek settlement for the Land Claims of the Ngai Tahumakakanui - 'the Ngai Tahumakakanui supertribal entity Blanket Claim.'  Another major goal or milestone for the organisation by its close is to be financially independent.  Some of the most critical expansions for it are a central part of milestones and goals of the period.  Some for core operations, programmes and projects and others for additionals and/or business initiatives.

Over just the next 24 months core operations/services hope to make initial expansions into countries and peoples the Ngai Tahumakakanui supertribe most directly descend from genealogically throughout the world.  Some of them include Pacific and South Sea Islands, India, China and countries of Africa like Accra-Ghana, Egypt and Ethiopia.  Once initial operations are running smooth extensions will be made them along with needed advancements. Along the way the organisation plans to enter markets in all the major trading nations of the world also, like North America, Latin America, Canada, Japan and in the U.K.

Trade and exporting goods are targeted from right throughout.  Toi Tahumakakanui and performing arts, kapahaka and other operations as well are tipped to be major drawcards for markets.  Others are Reggae MusicShop and Te Tapoi (Tourism), both programmes that promise to deliver right to doorsteps whether in Te Tiriotemoana - New Zealand - or abroad.
